If you have remote authorization enabled, you can review the users and their requests for authorization over a period of time. The Remote Authorization Request Queue helps you track who is requesting authorization, for what, and how often. In addition, you can track who is approving, denying or ignoring the requests.
You can track trends and decide a course of action. For example, if JackM continues to request authorization for an authorization key to adjust prices, and you see that he is responsible and consistent in his reasons, and the manager is consistently granting access, then you may decide to assign that authorization to JackM permanently.
Each time a user sends a request for authorization, regardless whether it was approved, denied, or ignored, Eclipse adds the request to the queue.
To review remote authorization requests:
From the System > System Files > User Control menu, select Remote Authorization Request Queue to display the Remote Authorization Queue.
Use the header fields to filter the queue display.
Review the Remote Authorization Queue columns:
The default column view is Counts Only. Use the View Manager
options to display other views:

Highlight the row for the authorization key and the user you want to assign the authorization key. Use the Authorization > Grant Authorization Key option. This is helpful when managing user permissions. For example, if you see that JackM is frequently requesting SOE.MIN.GP and almost always is being approved, you can assign that key to JackM as part of his standard permissions without having to access User Maintenance. |
Using this option removes the log entry from the Remote Authorization Request Queue and a change log entry is created in User Maintenance, for example: JACKM 01/02/15 12:47PMCST Auth Key "OE.OVERCOMMIT.STOCK"granted via Remote Authorization Request Queue. |
