The following control maintenance records belong to the PURGE area within the MAINT (Maintenance) category.

Minimum Days Past Bid Pricing Expire Before Purge

Enter the default number of days that must pass beyond a bid's expiration date before a user can delete the bid. More:

Options	Any number of days between 0 and 99999.
Outcome of setting this control record	This is the minimum number of days that must pass beyond the pricing expiration date on a bid before a user can delete the bid.
Default Value(s)	None
Action if set to Null	Same as if set to 99999.
Additional Information	The number you enter here displays in the Minimum Days Past Pricing Expire Before Purge field in the Bid Purge window (Maintenance > Merge/Purge > Purge Bids). You can override this setting in the Bid Purge screen when you manually or schedule to override bids.

Minimum Days Past Bid Ship Date Before Purge

Enter the default number of days that must pass beyond a bid's ship date before a user can delete the bid. More:

Options	Any number of days between 0 and 99999.
Outcome of setting this control record	This is the minimum number of days that must pass beyond the bid's ship date before a user can delete the bid.
Default Value(s)	None
Action if set to Null	Same as if set to 99999.
Additional Information	The number you enter here displays in the Minimum Days Past ship Date Before Purge field in the Bid Purge window (Maintenance > Merge/Purge > Purge Bids). You can override this setting in the Bid Purge screen when you manually or schedule to override bids.

Minimum Months To Keep During A PROD.LOG Purge

Enter the default number of day that must be kept for PROD.LOG. The PROD.LOG file stores pricing and cost information and most Eclipse sites maintain 36 to 48 months’ worth of data. You should take care to keep enough information to ensure that pricing and cost checks can be calculated accurately. This control record is an added setting to the Purge Maintenance utility.

Months Before Purge Of EDI Archives

Enter the system defaults for the Purge Archive Documents program. For each EDI archive, enter the number of months of archive data the system keeps when it runs the purge archive documents program. More:

Options	Any number of months between 0 and 99999 for each of the following document types: EDI Inbound Documents Archive EDI Inbound Envelope Archive EDI Outbound Envelope Archive EDI Review Queue Archive EDI Additional Data Archive EDI Outbound Documents Archive
Outcome of setting this control record	Determines how long each of the document types are kept in the system.
Default Value(s)	Blank
Example(s)	If you enter 12 in a field, the system preserves the most recent 12 months of archived data and deletes everything that has been in the archive longer than 12 months.
Action if set to Null	The system does not delete records from that archive. If you enter zero (0), the system deletes all the records in the archive.
Additional Information	You can override the defaults when you run the program.
