Use control maintenance records to customize how the system functions work for your company.
You must be assigned one of the following authorization keys to manage control maintenance records:
The CONTROL.PARAMETER.AUTH authorization key enables you to restrict viewing and editing access to specific control maintenance records. Users with this authorization can assign view levels or other authorization levels to control maintenance records to restrict who can view and edit the records.
The CONTROL.MAINT.VIEW and CONTROL.MAINT.EDIT authorization keys control your ability to view and edit restricted control maintenance records.
If you leave the Control Record Authorization screen for a control maintenance record, any user that has access to Control Maintenance can view and edit the settings for that control maintenance record. Access to this screen through the Eclipse Program Editor. Contact Eclipse Support for assistance with this setup.
Note: Value changes made through control record maintenance are logged in the System Activity Log.
