Viewing the PDW Product File Sync Report

When you run the PDW/Eclipse Product File Sync Utility, the system generates a report and places it in your Hold file. Use the report to view and print the results of the sync.

To view the PDW Product File Sync Report:

  1. Run the PDW/Eclipse Product File Sync Utility.

The system automatically creates a report and send it to your hold file.

  1. Use the Report hot key to display the Hold Entry Pre-View screen for the PDW Product File Sync Report.

  1. From the System > Printers menu, select Your Hold Entries and select the PDW Product File Sync Report.

  2. Review the report's information in the following fields:

Field

Description

Eclipse Dictionary Value

The value for the dictionary item.

ID

The Eclipse internal product ID.

Eclipse Description

The Eclipse product description.

PDW Description

The PDW product description.

Status

The sync status of the product:

  • Sync - Indicates the product has previously been synced to the PDW record.

  • New - Indicates the product matches a PDW record and can be synced to it.

  • Blank - If you leave this field blank, the product is not synced.

Note: Use the Right and Left Arrow keys to scroll across the screen.

  1. Press Esc to exit the screen.

More Options for Viewing the Sync Report

The following are some common options you might use when viewing the Sync Report.

Hot Key

Description

Format

Displays the Set-View Parameters Maintenance screen. Indicate the starting and ending columns and rows you want to view on this report.

Search

Displays a Search String prompt. Enter a string of keywords for which to search.

Page Skip

Displays a Page to View prompt. Enter the page number for the page you want to view.

Print

Displays the Print Options screen, which you can use to print the report.

View Detail

Allows you to view the detailed descriptions for the line item.

Edit Detail

If authorized, allows you to edit the descriptions for the line item.
