When you exit Solar Eclipse and log out, the system clears the contents of the error log. The system starts recording log entries again next time you log in. However, if your log file becomes too large, or you are trying to isolate a single error, you can clear the contents of the log file manually.

To clear the Solar Eclipse client log file:
From the File menu, select Show Error Log to display the Error Log window.
Click Clear Log File and at the prompt click OK to delete the contents of the log file.
