Use the Eclipse License Maintenance screen to monitor the number of Eterm and Solar Eclipse licenses currently being used. You can see who is using the licenses and how many connections each user has.
The Licensing Usage Detail Maintenance screen shows detail information about a user's license connections. You can see the accounts to which the user is connected and how long the user has been connected to each account. This allows you to review detailed information about each user's connections and then send messages asking users to log off any inactive connections. When necessary, you can also kill users' connections.
Important: You can only view license information for Solar licenses in the Eclipse License Maintenance screen. If you attempt to view licence detail for a Solar license, you are prompted to go to the Session Manager: |
Make sure your employees are logged into only one work station at a time in order to use only one licensed seat. If an employee is logged into two work stations, that will take up two license seats. Here are some additional hints and tips for regulating your license usage:
If you are a Solar site, always log into Eterm through Solar so it counts as only one licensed seat.

From the System > System Programming > System Maintenance menu, select License Maintenance to display the Eclipse License Maintenance screen.
