The phantom activity log includes information about what phantom processes were run, who ran them, when they started, when they completed, and the parameters they used. Each log entry represents a single phantom process from start to finish. The system administrator can view the log to assist with root cause analysis and performance concerns.
To view the phantom activity log:
From the System menu, select Phantom Status to display the Phantom Status window.
From the Show menu, select Log to display the Phantom Activity Log Viewing window.
The screen displays the following information for each log entry in view-only mode:

User ID of the person, if any, who entered the log activity. |
Date |
Day the log activity occurred. |
Time |
Time of day the log activity occurred. |

Description of the log activity that occurred. The system logs the following information:

display the Selection Criteria screen and enter selection criteria to filter the list of logs. |
From the Selection menu, select Select Criteria. |
display the Phantom Parameters screen and view the parameters assigned to the phantom process arguments. |
From the View menu, select Parameters. |
display your User Job Queue Viewing screen. |
From the File menu, select User Queue. |
delete the log entry on which the cursor is positioned. The system does not prompt you for confirmation. Use the Delete By Date option to delete all log entries older than a designated date. The system prompts you to enter the date. |
From the File menu, select Delete By Date. |
displays the errors associated with a failed process. The system displays a popup message when an error exists.. |
Click OK to close the message box and fix the error. |
