Applying Anticipation Credit

After you have determined that a customer is eligible for anticipation credit and have set up the customer to use it, you still have the option of deciding whether or not to apply this credit each time you enter a cash receipt for that customer.

To apply anticipation credit:

  1. From the A/R menu, select Cash Receipts to display the Cash Receipts window.

  2. Enter a cash receipt.

  3. From the File menu, select Exit. At the Check for Anticipation Credit prompt, click Yes to apply anticipation credit to the cash receipt, if applicable; otherwise, click No.
