Limiting Customer Information Display in A/R Inquiry

Use the A/R Inquiry Selection Criteria window to limit a customer's information displayed on the A/R Inquiry window.

To limit the customer details:

  1. From the A/R menu, select A/R Inquiry to display the A/R Inquiry window.

  2. Display the customer information.

  3. From the Selection menu, select Select Criteria to display the A/R Inquiry Selection Criteria window.

  4. Complete any of the following fields, as needed:

Filter

Description

Order ID

To filter the A/R Inquiry table using the customer's order number, enter a reference number in this field excluding extensions.

This displays customer's information for a specific order.

Customer P/O

To filter the A/R Inquiry table using the Customer P/O, enter the customer’s purchase order number.

This displays customer's information for a purchase order number.

Inside Sales Person

To filter the A/R Inquiry table using the Inside Sales Person, select the login ID of the person who calls the customer to suggest additional orders.

This displays customer's information based on their inside sales person.

Outside Sales Person

To filter the A/R Inquiry table using the Outside Sales PErson, enter the login ID of the person who secured the first order from this customer.

This displays customer's information based on their outside sales person.

Invoice Status

To filter the A/R Inquiry table using the Invoice Status, enter the status of the invoice generated for the customer.

This displays customer's information based on their invoice status.

Start Date and End Date

To filter the A/R Inquiry table using the dates, enter the date from which you want the customer's information and to which you want the customer's information.

This displays customer's information within a specific date range.

Start Payment Date and End Payment Date

To filter the A/R Inquiry table using the payment dates, enter the date from which the payment could be made and the date till which the payment could be made.

This displays customer's information within a specific payment date range.

Minimum Amount

To filter the A/R Inquiry table using the payment, enter the minimum amount paid.

This displays customer's information greater than or equal to a specific amount.

Maximum Amount

To filter the A/R Inquiry table using the payment, enter the maximum amount paid.

This displays customer's information less than or equal to a specific amount.

Minimum Payment Amount

To filter the A/R Inquiry table using payment amount, enter the minimum amount for which the payment was made.

This displays customer's information greater than or equal to a specific amount.

Maximum Payment Amount

To filter the A/R Inquiry table using payment amount, enter the maximum amount for which the payment was made.

This displays customer's information less than or equal to a specific amount.

Branch/Territory

 

To filter the A/R Inquiry table, enter a branch, territory, or all.

This displays only that customer information that is associated with a specific branch or territory.

  1. Click OK to view the customer details matching your selection criteria on the A/R Inquiry window.

  2. Do either of the following, as needed to broaden your search:
