To map an Eclipse quote status:
From the System > System Programming > API Maintenance menu, select API Configurations to display the API Configurations window.
Click the Epicor Commerce pane, if not already selected.
Click the Other Settings tab, if not already selected.
In the Quote Status Mapping area, for each of the following select the quote status you want to display:
Request for Quote - Initial quoting process status. A customer has placed a quote through EC and is requesting more information or better pricing on the items. In Eclipse, you can use the Remote Order Entry Review Queue and sort by EC order type to display only those quotes that originated using EC.
Quoted - Status when order has been quoted and sent to the customer. After a salesperson reviews the quote, adds any missing items, or modifies the pricing, then the salesperson can manually change the status from Request for Quote to Quoted so that a customer can see the updated quote information in EC.
Note:To reject the quote, change the status of the order to cancelled (X).
Quote to Order - Status when quote is converted to an order. After the customer approves the salesperson's changes, EC transmits the information to Eclipse in a Quote to Orderstatus. The salesperson can then review the quote and change the status toOpen Order. The order is then available to view using the Account Orders page in EC.
Save your changes and exit the window.
