Use the Other Settings tab to set up the image sources you need to display the product images in EC for your eCommerce site. Complete this section if your company has more than one image provider for products. Prioritize which images display. Meaning, the system uses the hierarchy you define here to determine which image to display next to the product in EC. The system checks these locations in the order in which they are listed, so make sure you have them entered carefully.
You can use PDW meta information, meta tags containing the full unique path for the product image, or meta tags for directories or product image file names. Additionally, images for products can be housed on a local or network server for the meta tag to reference.
When PDW items are created, the images are all assigned data provider meta tags instead of the usual full screen or thumbnail meta tag. The system can obtain images displayed when using EC or Product Data Warehouse from the PDW, a directory of product images on your system, or data providers on the internet.
To set up image sources:
From the System > System Programming > API Maintenance menu, select API Configurations to display the API Configurations window.
Click the Epicor Commerce pane, if not already selected.
Click the Other Settings tab, if not already selected.
In the Image Sources area, define your image paths.
Note: The File Name cannot be changed.

Save your changes and exit the window.
