EPA Configuration

The EPA Configuration window is part of the setup for the EPA Device Maintenance. EPA communicates through a Device Agent (DA) to the cloud service for the device configuration and activation. Part of that setup is done in the EPA Configuration window.

On the EPA Device Maintenance window, from the Additional menu, select Configuration. The system displays the EPA Configuration window.

The Server IP Address is a read-only field. It shows the IP address of the computer you are currently on that you are using EPA to communicate with each device.

On the EPA Configuration window, complete the following fields:

  1. In the Device Agent Server Path field, enter the computer path to the location you want the DA to install.
  2. In Log Path, enter the computer path to the location you want to store all log data.
  3. In Logging Level, select the level of log information to record when processing transactions. You can choose Critical, Warning, Error, Info or Debug.
  4. In Tenant URL, enter the URL the EPA Hub system uses to send a validation of the token that was generated by Eclipse.
Set your internet reachable domain/ip, with the endpoint available: /epa/VerifyEPAToken/
For example, if you have your APIs at www.mycompany.com, the full tenant url that needs to be set is www.mycompany.com/epa/VerifyEPAToken/
Note: The EPA Hub is part of the system that serves to authenticate and track various components in the process, such as pinpads (payment device), EPA, the Device Agent, and Eclipse.
  5. In the Reconnection Attempts section, set the number of attempts the EPA system makes to reconnect to EPA and the Pinpad (payment device).
