EPA Control Records

There are two control records associated with the EPA setup. Completing the control record configuration to select the processing gateway to use and choose the display images the devices use.

Note: In addition to the control records, complete the EPA Configuration prior to running EPA to activate a device.

To access the EPA control records navigate from the EPA Device Maintenance window to the Additional menu and then select EPA Control Maintenance. On the EPA Control Record Maint window you have the following control records:

EPA Branch Payment Setup

When you configure your device using EPA, you can set the type of payment software system, therefore the gateway, you use by branch.

Use the Branch/Territory list to filter items that display in the Branch column.
In the Branch column, locate the branch you are setting up to use the Epicor Payment Application.
In the EPA Branch Payment Setup field, select either Epicor Payment Application or TriPOS. If left blank, it also uses the TriPOS system.

For example, set to TriPOS and it uses the payment logic that goes through the Element gateway.

EPA Browser Look and Feel Customization

You can personalize the colors and fonts on the Epicor Retail Cloud Sale box. This box is for entering the credit card information through the Epicor Payment Application (EPA) integrated with Eclipse. By customizing the look of the credit card box, you can make it consistent with your company's image and brand.

In the EPA Control Record Maint window, choose the EPA Browser Look and Feel Customization control record.

The system will display the EPA Hosted Token Page Configuration box.

Choose any of the following settings to customize the look of the credit card window.

Option	Description
Header Size	Increases the border width of the header and footer.
Set Header Color	Opens a color selection box.
Set Body Background Color	Opens a color selection box.
Set Button Background Color	Opens a color selection box.
Set Button Font Color	Opens a color selection box.
Set Button Font and Size – Opens a font selection box. You can also use the buttons to make the font bigger or smaller.
Set Input Background Color	Opens a color selection box. Input refers to the boxes you enter the credit card data.
Set Input Font Color	Opens a color selection box.
Set Input Font and Size	Opens a font selection box. You can also use the buttons to make the font bigger or smaller. Input refers to the boxes you enter the credit card data.
Set Error Message Font Color	Opens a font selection box.
Set Error Message Font and Size	Opens a font selection box. You can also use the buttons to make the font bigger or smaller.

EPA Device Branding Image

You can customize the image on all payment devices that are running through the Epicor Payment Application.

From the File Type list box, select Idle Image or Transaction Image.
This allows you to define the image you use when you are not actively using the payment device and when the device is processing a transaction.
Next to the Select File field, click the browse button and then navigate to choose the image.
The image you save in this control record applies to all devices using EPA.
