Use printer locations to indicate which location can use the printer you are configuring. For example, you have a printer in the warehouse by the dock. You do not want everyone in your company printing to the machine. You select two warehouse locations and one office location that is allowed to print to the printer.
To assign a printer location to a current printer:
From the System > System Files menu, select Eclipse Forms Printer Maintenance to display the Eclipse Forms Printer Setup window on the Printer Settings tab.
In the Eclipse Printer Name field, enter the user-friendly name for the printer for which you want to assign a printer location, such as Warehouse Dock 1 or Sales Counter West Side.
The system populates the rest of the window.
Click the Printer Locations tab.
Use the Add and Remove buttons to move locations from the Available Locations column to the Assigned Locations column. Only locations in the Assigned Locations column are able to use the printer.
Note: You must highlight the location you want to move.
Select Show All Locations to see all available locations regardless of branch. By default, the system displays locations in the Available Locations column based on the branch selected on the General Settings tab.
Note: If the selections are grayed out, click the General Settings tab and make sure you have a printer selected.
