Use the Maintenance Log Viewing window to view all of the changes made to records in the G/L account data file. Change information includes who made the change, when it was made, and to what file it was made. Enable the logging of changes in the Maint Logging field on the File Definition Maintenance window. To view changes to G/L accounts:
From the G/L > G/L Maintenance menu, select G/L Account Maintenance to display the G/L Account Maintenance window.
In the Account field, enter or select the account for which you want to view changes.
From the Filemenu, select Maintenance Log to display the Maintenance Log Viewing window.
The Maintenance Log Viewing window displays the following view-only information:

The name of the file as listed in the Eclipse Dictionary. |

The G/L account file to which these log entries apply. |

The ID of the user who made the change. |

Date |
The date the change was made. |

Time |
The time the change was made. |

The description of the change. The type of information that is logged is determined by the setting in the Maint Logging field of the File Definition Maintenance screen. |
Exit the window to return to the G/L Account Maintenance window.
To search for specific changes:
From the Maintenance Log Viewing window, choose Select Criteria from the Select menu to display the Maintenance Log Selection Criteria dialog box.
In the User ID field, enter or select a user.
In the IncludePattern field, enter the text string on which you want the system to search.
In the Exclude Pattern field, enter the text string you want the system to exclude from its search.
In the As of Date, enter the date from which you want the system to search.
Click OK to start the search.
The Maintenance Log Viewing window displays those log entries that match your search criteria. To view all the maintenance log entries, select Clear Selection from the Select menu.
