Viewing Table Graph Data Values

Two methods for determining the exact values represented by a point on a line, a bar, or a pie wedge on a graph are:

To view the exact value of a specific data set in a graph:

  1. Create a table graph.

  2. Hold the mouse pointer over the data element for which to view an exact value.

The system displays a pop-up description, also known as a Tool Tip, that includes the name of the data set and the exact amount represented by the element.

To view the exact values for all data sets in a graph:

  1. Create a table graph.

  1. On the toolbar, click to view the values for each data set.

  2. To determine the best display method for the data, toggle between the graph types on the toolbar.
