This topic explains the following two features:
Drilling down is the ability to access additional information on a transaction. For example, let's say you're reviewing the shipping status of a customer's order, and you need to see what items are on the order. You can use the View or Edit hot keys to view the original transaction or additional information. The system offers many ways to drill into transactions.
Pushing a level allows you to suspend the current task and begin another. For example, let's say you're waiting for a customer to complete their order, when another customer needs an inventory check. You can suspend the current order to check the inventory.
Select a new screen from the menu.
Perform the new task.
Press Esc until you close the new task and return to the screen where you were performing the original task.
