Assigning Charges to Cuttable Products

As you process cuttable products, you can assign charges for needing to make the cuts of products to fulfill the order. Cut charges can be charged per group or for each cut. For example, if the product is small, such as .01 wire, you may only want compensation for cutting the wire for each order. However, if the product is large, such as 3/4" copper tubing, or complicated, such as fused electronic wire, you may want compensation for each cut that needs to be made.

Enter the products that you want Order Entry to display as available options in the Cut Entry screen. The Cut Charge Product column displays the miscellaneous charge product used to charge for the cuts. Pulling Heads Required can be a kit product used as a reminder that pulling heads are required for the wire cuts.
