Creating Order Entry Reminders for Product Records

You can create reminders that will display for a product when it is entered onto an order. For example, for a bathtub product, create the following order entry reminders:

Note: These reminders also apply to rental products.

To create an order entry reminder for a product:

  1. From the Maintenance menu, select Product to display the Product Maintenance window.

  2. Display the product record for which to create a reminder.

  3. From the Notes menu, select Reminders to display the Order Entry Reminder window.

If order entry reminders exist for the product, a selection list displays first. Select one of the following:

  1. In the Reminder area, enter or edit a reminder message of up to five lines of 60 characters each.

  2. Select one of the following check boxes to define the type of order for which the reminder will display:

  1. In the Branch field, enter a branch or territory to assign the message to display for only the indicated branch or territory; otherwise, leave the Branch field blank to assign the message to all branches and territories.

  2. Save the reminder and exit the dialog box.
