A product group is a set of products that share a common pricing scheme. Use Product Group Maintenance to define the hierarchy in which your product uses the defined buy and sell groups. This program uses the buy and sell groups defined in Price Line Maintenance. You must have those defined before using Product Groups.
When determining the pricing information, the system looks to branch sell groups, then sell groups defined by territories, and then all group settings. If a sell group is defined in a territory that is in the selected branch, the system checks the branch sell groups first, then selects any groups defined by territories.
