Applying Freight Charges by Box

Use the Box Summary window to apply freight charges to an entire box of items, rather than to individual products.

To apply freight charges by box:

1. Create or open a sales order and display the order's Totals tab.

If payment is required up front, the Totals tab displays after you verify the order generation statuses. Otherwise, click on the tab to display it.

2. From the Additional menu, select Box Summary to display the Box Summary window.

3. In the Freight Amount field, enter the freight charges for the box of items.

4. Save your changes and exit the window to return to the Totals tab. The system updates the amount in the Freight field and indicates the change with a bold-face amount.
