Use the Salesperson Split Commission Percentage window to review or change the commissions percentages earned on a specific order. Commissions can go to one or more sales representatives who played a role in the sale.
To edit a commission percentage:
Create or open a sales order and display the order's Header tab.
From the Edit menu, select Salesperson Split Commission.
On the Inside, Outside, and Writer tabs, enter the salespeople who will be splitting the commission for this order.
For each salesperson, enter a name in the Salesperson column and a percentage in the Percentage column. The total percentage for all salespeople sharing the commission must equal 100 percent.
In the CommGrp column, enter a commission group to use when calculating commissions for this order, if needed.
Note: If assigning a commission group, you cannot split the commission between more than one salesperson. The percentage for a commission group must be 100 percent.
Save your changes and exit the window to return to the order's Header tab.
If prompted to copy the change to all open generations, select Yes to do so; otherwise, select No.
Complete the order as usual.
