Setup Requirements for Delivery Labels

Following are the control maintenance records used with delivery labels.

Control Maintenance Records

Set the following control maintenance records:

User-Defined Order Entry View

A user-defined sales order entry view, Delivery Label View, allows users to assign the full quantity of a single product to a single delivery location. This user-defined view should be added to each user who will assign delivery labels during order entry, using the Order Entry View Selection window in User Maintenance. System administrators can also locate this view under the system name ITEM.TAG.GROUP.

Product-Specific Setup

If you want to, you can designate a delivery label printing method for specific products, using the Delivery Label Per field on the Product Miscellaneous Information window in Product Maintenance. For more information, see Entering Miscellaneous Product Information.
