Follow these steps when associating products with delivery locations during order entry. You can specify commonly used delivery label groups that your company sets up in advance, such as Kitchen or Bath. Or, you can enter a free-form delivery location, such as Danny's Room.
To assign the full quantity of a product to one delivery location:
Create or open a sales order and display the order's Body tab.
From the View > New View menu, select Delivery Label View.
Note: If this view is not on your menu, ask your system administrator to add it for you. User-defined views are added using the Order Entry View Selection window in User Maintenance.
Enter quantities and products as usual.
For each line item whose full quantity will be delivered to the same delivery location, enter a delivery location in the Delivery Group column.
If you need to assign the quantity of a line item to more than one delivery location, see the instructions below.
To assign the quantity of a product to more than one delivery location:
Create or open a sales order and display the order's Body tab.
Select the line item for which you want to assign a delivery location.
From the Line Item menu, select Delivery Label Detail to display the Delivery Label Detail window.
Review the Label Per field to verify that room tags for this item will print by Item, or by Delivery Group, depending on your preference. A default setting is automatically filled in, but you can change the setting for this line item using this field.
In the Quantity column, enter the quantity of this line item that will be delivered to the first delivery location. If the total quantity for this line item will all be delivered to the same delivery location, the quantity you enter will be the same as the total line item quantity.
In the Delivery Label Group column, select the first delivery location to which some, or all, of this line item will be delivered. Or, type a new delivery location of your choice.
In the Comment column, enter any comment you want to print on the room tags. Entering a comment is optional.

the total quantity for this line item will be delivered to more than one delivery location | repeat steps 5 through 7 until you have assigned the total line item quantity to two or more delivery locations. |
Close the Delivery Label Detail window, and click Yes when prompted to save your changes.
Enter more products on the sales order and associate them with rooms, as needed.
