Viewing Add-On/Substitute Product Inquiries

When you search for substitute or add-on products that you can add to your sales order, you may need to research products to see if they are similar and, more important, in stock. Use Product Inquiries to display a variety of information related to a selected substitute or add-on product.

To view add-on/substitute product inquiries:

Create or open a sales order and display the order's Body tab.
Select Line Item > Substitutes to display the Substitute / Add On Sale Items window.

Note: You can also access this window from the Scheduling window.

Move the cursor to a product you want to inquire about, and then select one of the following inquiries from the Inquiries menu.

To view...	Select this Inquiries menu option...
the product's inventory levels	Inventory Inquiry
inventory projections for the product	Future Ledger
the product's sales and procurement history	History Ledger
how often the product has been sold over the years	Product Sales History
or change the product's maintenance record	Product Maintenance
inventory management details, such as demand, lead time, and other factors	Inventory Data
