Strategic Pricing Associates analyzes your product, customer, sales, and pricing data for the past 12 months to determine the best pricing strategy and multipliers for your pricing formulas.
Exporting data creates a sales history export. This file is required to gather sales transactions for each customer and the products they have purchased in the past 12 months. This information is used to rank customers and products. This file includes the customer category information. Sales history includes only stock and non-stock items, and does not included lot billed items. The export includes sales data from all your branches.
Prior to exporting data, complete the following setup and training:
Complete your introduction training with Strategic Pricing Associates.
To export data for Strategic Pricing Associates:
From the Maintenance > Price Maintenance > Strategic Pricing menu, select File Exports to display the Strategic Pricing File Exports window.
Enter the criteria
to select the data included in
the export files.
From the File menu, select Hold to create the export files and save them to your Hold file.
From the System > Printers menu, select Your HoldEntries to display the Report Queue window.
Select the first export file you want to download, and select Tools > Download to display the Download File window.
In the Save As File field, enter the directory path where you want to save the file. Click the Folder icon next to the field to select a directory.
In the File Type field, select Tab Delimited File, to save the file in the format that Strategic Pricing Associates requires.
In the Download Options area, select the Download Column Headings field to include the heading row that identifies each column in the downloaded file.
Click Download File to save the file to the directory you indicated.
Repeat this procedure for each download file.
Send the files to your Strategic Pricing Associates representative using e-mail or CD, depending on the file size.
