Viewing and Editing Product Core Statuses in Strategic Pricing

After you import the Core Status Assignments file, you can view the core status assignments in the Strategic Pricing Maintenance window. Your service tier determines which data displays and also determines the refinement of your Strategic Pricing calculations.

Core statuses are view only, unless you are assigned the SPRC.CORE.STATUS.EDIT authorization key.

To view and edit product core statuses:

  1. From the Maintenance > Price Maintenance > Strategic Pricing menu, select Strategic Pricing Maintenance to display the Strategic Pricing Maintenance window.

  2. In the left pane, click Products and enter the product you want to view or edit in the Product field. The following data displays depending on your service tier.

Data Description

Strategic Costing

The core status for the product.

Silver

The core status for the product. This is the default setting if a product does not have status assigned at the other service tiers.

Gold

The core status assigned to each customer category for the product. If you do not have the Gold tier, the category section of the window does not display and the system uses the core from the product level (default).

Platinum

The core status assigned to each customer for the product. If you do not have the Platinum tier, the customer section of the window does not display and the system uses the product's core status from the customer category or the product level (default). You can also view a product's core status for a customer under the Customers option in the Strategic Pricing Maintenance window.
